SUMMER CAMP INFO

 

Summer camp offers 2-6 week courses that teach various subjects ranging from sailing, to fitness and sports. Cadets earn a training bonus of $60/week. Most courses will be offered at HMCS Ontario in Kingston, ON. Some of the senior and specialty courses (Boatswain's Mate, Shipwright) are only offered in other camps such as HMCS Quadra, Comox BC, or at HMCS Acadia, Corwallis, NS.

As a senior cadet they may also have the opportunity to attend an advanced training course or deployment. Some of these deployments are on tall ships, Coast Guard ships or Canadian Navy ships.
